The campaign needed an incentive that had an immediacy, while being packaged up in the friendly tone of voice Bayfields has become recognised for. It also needed to stand out from the previous campaign promoting contact lenses that ran in August, so visually it required an approach that didn’t feature client-focused lifestyle imagery.

The chosen campaign featured a simple headline offering an Amazon voucher, supported with a line and imagery around playful ways to use it. The offer was presented in an unusual way introducing unexpected imagery to help to cut through the other promotional activity it ran alongside. The campaign resulted in an increase of 147% up on Q3 eye and ear exams.
