They approached us to help them with a name and brand identity for their inaugural range of car chargers.
This needed to be relevant, memorable and distinct in the market, as well as flex across a number of planned product lines. The challenge here was landing on a name that was available and was aligned with the product’s purpose in some way.
This underpinned everything from the look and feel to tone of voice, and helps to create a point of difference in an already crowded marketplace. ‘A car charger that’s simple, beautiful and won’t cost the earth’ was the agreed proposition, underpinning ease of installation, design and affordability.
With some category norms already being established in this space, from colours to typography, it was imperative that the creative solution helped create clear space between the brand and the competition while ensuring it was distinct and memorable.
"As a manufacturer aiming to bring a brand new product to market, we needed a fresh approach to our marketing and branding to stand out from the crowd. Working with Bread & Butter has been an amazing experience, from their desire to help us define who we are as a business to their detailed guidance on our product logos, imagery, tone of voice, social media and even packaging."
